Dr. Sara Heffler has been practicing optometry since 1994. She received her B.A. in Health Sciences from Chadron State College, and her Doctorate of Optometry from Pacific University, Forest Grove, Oregon.
She provides complete eye examinations for all ages, including evaluation of children with specific visual concerns. She also fits all types of contact lenses, specializing in difficult fittings–such as following corneal transplants or other surgeries. Dr. Heffler has longstanding experience in medical eye exams, including detection of cataracts, glaucoma, and retinal disorders. She has a genuine concern for her patients’ vision and eye health needs.
Dr. Heffler is a member of the American Optometric Society and has been an ESL tutor for 5 years. She enjoys hiking, camping, and the Green Bay Packers.
Dr. Sara Heffler began seeing patients at 20/20 Vision Center at the beginning of January 2017.
